Hôtel Le Boulevardier

“Charming old hotel on Presqu'Île. Very comfortable beds and nice clean bathroom of good size. Decent Frencg breakfast. We enjoyed the stay. The room was nicely furbished, however practically no daylight with no window and only a glass door to the tiny dark courtyard on the first floor, together with some noise from the gas and electricity cabin and pipes in the yard. The bed pillows were far too thick and inflexible - difficult to find a comfortable position. Lastly, a dog - even if very nice - that is not yet house-trained, should not be allowed to roam freely in the breakfast area and pee on the carpet.”

“We had a great stay! We were greeted by friendly staff that were extremely kind and helpful, especially when we were trying to change a train reservation. It was really convenient leaving our luggage after checkout since we didn't leave Lyon until evening.”

“Stayed here in June 25. Lovely, quirky B&B. Good location for Lyon and parking in public car park only a 2 minutes walk. Really nice rooms and the whole place is decorated with a genuinely fun vibe. We were able to walk to all the visitor attractions and restaurants. The host was great and helpful. I would recommend if staying in Lyon. We are a couple in our late 40s/early 50s and still relatively healthy, I say this as the spiral staircase to access the floors maybe a challenge for some if you have a great deal of luggage but don’t let that put you off as the way it is decorated makes it interesting.”

“Great hotel, very original in style and ideally located. The rooms are not big but they are enough, some face the street with the church but it wasn't loud at night. The staff is super nice, the breakfast was quite good and the overall service and communication were great. There's an underground parking (extra fee) very close by. Totally recommended.”

“This is an excellent hotel and good value. The rooms are cleaned daily with new towels provided, and a good size. The location is very good as it is 5mins from the old town and 5mins from the shopping district. Staff are very friendly. My expectations were exceeded.”
